Beginning in preschool and extending through eighth grade, we emphasize cooperative learning, which allows students to use their individual gifts to work together to accomplish goals, think critically, and solve problems. Immaculate Conception is dedicated to utilizing research-based instructional approaches and differentiated instruction in order to meet the needs of individual learners.
Early Childhood
When your child enters our early childhood classroom, you can expect that they will receive an enriched and nurturing environment focused on inquiry-based instruction.

Our play-based preschool curriculum is perfect for 3-5 year olds to help build their social and emotional development, promote their cognitive and language skills, while lifting their self confidence and preparing them for their future in school.

Elementary Program
The faculty at Immaculate Conception strive to provide each student with well-rounded and individualized educational opportunities, while embodying the faith values that make up the core of our school.

Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade engage in curriculum benchmarks of English, Reading, Math and Science which are aligned to the Illinois Learning Standards, Common Core State Standards, ACT's College Readiness Standards, and the Next Generation Science Standards.

Junior High Program
Our junior high curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive education for students in grades 6th through 8th.
Our program includes courses in religion, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and physical education. Our curriculum directly aligns with the Illinois Learning Standards, Common Core State Standards, ACT's College Readiness Standards, and the Next Generation Science Standards.
Teachers use creative, integrative, interdisciplinary approaches to provide students with authentic and meaningful educational experiences.
Enrichment Programs
Our enrichment programs can have a positive impact on individuals of all ages. At Immaculate Conception School these programs provide a unique opportunity for participants to express themselves in creative ways, while also developing important skills such as teamwork and communication.
